We use your information only for the purpose you gave it to us for:

• To answer your enquiry and provide real estate services you asked about.
• To verify that a phone number belongs to you, which is what unlocks the account features described below.
• To keep your favourites and saved searches attached to your account.
• To keep the site working, secure, and free of abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Listing content on this site comes from the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB) and remains the property of the board and its members. The board's rules — not our preference — decide what may be shown publicly and what may only be shown to a registered user.

That is the reason some information, such as sold prices, asks you to create an account first. Registration is a requirement of the board agreement that lets us show that data at all, not a marketing device. What you provide at registration is used for the purposes in this policy and to satisfy that board requirement.

This site sets a small number of cookies. The ones that matter are the session cookies that keep you signed in after you log in; without them you would be signed out on every page.

We do not use cookies to build an advertising profile of you or to track you across other websites. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time, though doing so will sign you out and prevent your favourites from loading.

We use service providers to run the site. They process information on our instructions and for no other purpose:

• Our hosting and application platform, which serves the pages and stores form submissions and account records.
• Our SMS provider, which delivers the one-time verification code to your phone.
• Valery Real Estate and its systems, where a real estate enquiry has to reach a licensed representative in order to be answered.

Some of these providers may process or store data outside Canada. Where that happens, the information may be accessible to the courts and law enforcement of that country. We choose providers that offer contractual protection for personal information.

Enquiries and lead records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to registered real estate professionals in Ontario. Those obligations are set by the regulator and the brokerage, and they can require records to be retained for several years after a transaction.

Account records — your favourites and saved searches — are kept until you ask us to close the account. Ask, and we will delete them.

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• Withdraw your consent and ask us to stop contacting you, subject to any legal or contractual obligation we still have.
• Ask us to delete your account and the information attached to it.
• Unsubscribe from any marketing message we send, using the link in that message. This is your right under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

This site is intended for adults looking for property. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date shown at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
